I have enabled the "allow trading draft picks" function in my non-keeper league. I have already randomly set the draft order, and now I want to know if it is possible to trade sets of picks to other managers - #1 and #87 for #11 and #59, for example. How do I go about doing this (if possible)?
Hey Tom, actually there is no way to trade draft picks before the draft is complete, unless you allow the managers to trade picks manually and have you alter the draft order according to their trades. However, if it helps the managers can trade draft picks for the 2013 season, after the draft is complete.
We appreciate your question, and keep them coming!
Trading Picks via Yahoo is fairly new, I think this is the second year Yahoo permits it. I have been in a keeper league where we have been manually trading picks for 4 or 5 years, it is not complicated to do. Under each round it will show the position (i.e. the 4th pick), and there is a drop down box where you can change the team. I liked this format better in the keeper league because u can trade an imbalanced number of picks, whereas trading with Yahoo requires picks to be equal going each way. Obviously without keepers, that doesn't effect you
