Today I had to do a re install of my computer security system with help from a tech. After the re install, updates and reboot, my main my.yahoo page and my email page have changed (for the worse).

I tried to correct the look of my home page but it would not let me into themes.

I cannot delete, reply, forward etc any of my emails as those buttons are gone.

I am using the most current version of Firefox.

If I go to my other browser IE, I have no problems.

From my.yahoo homepage I can go to other web pages without any problems.

Thanks in advance,

The Duke

Hi Duke!

I understand that you are unable to properly use Yahoo! since having your computer updated.  I'm sorry to hear that and will be happy to help you.

This sounds like your Firefox browser is blocking some Yahoo! scripts.  The following article will help you troubleshoot this issue.

Hope this helps!

We appreciate you choosing to use Yahoo!

Java was enabled.

Add ons were already disabled.

No luck.

Other thoughts?

Thanks,

Duke

Hey Duke!

Sorry that you are still having problems.  Since you are already using the newest version of Firefox, please ensure that you are using the most recent version of Java.  If Java is not up to date, it can negatively impact how a webpage is displayed.

You can check your Java by cliking on the following link:

Hey Nixon,

I installed the latest Java and rebooted. Same issues. Can't even get into the options, themes, etc. Spoke with techies at Verizon and they believe that the problem may be with FireFox itself.

I can go to my other browser, IE, and Yahoo, email and all my pages load normally. I will check with FireFox and see what they say.

Thanks,

Duke

Nixon,

Thanks for your help. Enabling Java was a step in the right direction. And updating Java helped also.

It was an issue with Mozilla FireFox andproblems have been solved. Had to clear the network cache in the options tab. Then I was able to go in and put my Yahoo themes back to where they were.

Thanks again,

Duke
