I have had a team that was inactive all season now start dropping it's best players a couple of days before the playoffs are to begin. Is there any way of blocking those players from being added? Any other solution would be welcome!

the team is called "the destroyers".

That is up to your commisioner to lock the teams down so they can't make any moves. As soon as the playoffs hit, bam, teams that didn't make it are locked up so they can't drop or add. That way they don't drop their best.

Thanks or your reply Ryan. However, this is a Public league so no commish. And every time I try to contact Yahoo Help, I click to enter my issue and it never submits. I need someone to stop this as its clearly against Yahoo's sportsmanship policy.

I don't think there's anything you can do, unfortunately. That's one of the problems with Pulic leagues and why I usually avoid them unless you're just playing casually. If it were me, I would post a message on the league board calling out The Destroyer's poor sporstmanship and urging everyone not to pick up the players in question. It won't do any good, most likely, but it would make me feel better. You can also click on the Managers tab in your league. There you'll find a ratings box for each manager. Give the guy a bad rating, maybe also give bad ratings to any managers that take advantage of the situation created by the crybaby. Again, it probably won't accomplish too much, might make you feel better though. Sorry.

Hi Andy,
I appreciate you reporting this. We do care about our Public Leagues, and try to ensure all managers follow the Terms of Service and Fair Play and Sportsmanship rules. I have sent this case to our Customer Care team for investigation.
Also, please know that we do not disclose what, if any, action which may have been taken on a user's account.
Although we have Yahoo! Sports Help Community moderators that actively scan our forums, time sensitive cases such as these would be better handled through our Customer Care team directly. You can always send an email by clicking on the Sports Help link to the right of this page, then clicking on the Get Help link.

Thanks again Mike, unfortunately the damage has been done. Playoff team got a free Top 10 player. Blah.
Oscar G. Thanks for your reply. Also just as unfortunate I tried to use the "Get Help" button. Entered all of the neccessary information into the forms, clicked enter...just brought up the FAQ stuff. No help at all.

You would need to select the appropriate category and sub-category. In this case, the following:
Select a product: Sports
Select a version: Fantasy Hockey
Select a category: Cheating and sportsmanship
Select a sub-categhory: public league dumping players
Selecting these categories will open the text box. Simply write in the details and click Enter on the right.

Oscar, did that...several times in the very beginning after this happened. Before I ever came here to the forums to post my concerns. Nothing happened. Literally clicked enter multiple times and nothing happened. Tried it from another computer, nothing happened. Tried it from my phone, nothing happened.

Sorry for the confusion. Once you hit 'Enter' after the description, a few options will load at the very bottom of the page after it refreshes. Select 'Email a Support Agent', and the email form will load. Fill out the email form that loads, and 'Send'.
