Hello all,

I just created an account so that I could messages on the message board, but it seems my first message isn't showing up. Admittedly, it is an extremely long post, and I was wondering if there is restrictions on how long the post can be?

Also, when I go to 'preview' the post, it is just one giant wall of text, with no spaces between paragraphs. Does anyone know if that means anything, and why my post isn't posting?

Thanks everyone!

Hi James,

Are you sure your post didn't just get added to the list of other posts - on a different page? That is often the issue when it seems like your post "doesn't post."

Hope that helps! Please let me know either way!

I have also just tried posting -- mine is pretty small - 2 sentences -- started a new topic - posted it - and nothing appears....I have just spent 45 minutes posting the same thing over and over again and still - it doesn't appear....what's the deal???

Hi Patricia,

If you are not getting an error message, then what I said above still holds true for you too. If you come to a message board and are the newest poster, your post does not go on top. It goes to the bottom of all the pages that already exist.

Did you check to be sure you didn't just post the same content over and over again at the bottom of the list of topics?

Please let me know if your message does not appear there and I'd be happy to look into it further.

Thanks!

I did indeed - I searched through every single post - mine is not on there  - I then even sorted them in date order - it says the last post in this message board was Jan 9, 2012 when I know for a fact I have posted more things since then....

ps - re: your comment "and are the newest poster, your post does not go on top. It goes to the bottom of all the pages that already exist" - how silly is that anyway?  If there are 5 pages of messages - why would you put the newest on the end of the 5th page and not on the top the way every single other message board in the world does it?  Either way - like I said - I have manually gone through every single post - mine are not on there....and I also sorted it to have the most recent posts on top - and it shows January 2012 as the last post which is incorrect.

so are we to assume that there is no answer for this at all?

i'll take this as a "yes" - there is no answer at all to resolve this issue that many are having......nice to know there is no where to go for assistance and the problem (which has been ongoing for a long long time) is just going to be ignored.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Actually, if your post did not appear than it was not posted for a specific reason or was reported as abusive by another user and removed. I cannot be sure which as I was never able to find your post in the first place.

If you continue to have trouble posting you might try another browser or some basic browser troubleshooting:

I hope that helps!
