Keeper leagues suggestion

Instead of having a keeper league go dead after the season and go to the archives, what can we do about keeping it open year round?

If it's a designated keeper league, allow the commissioner to keep it alive and kicking.  Shut down free agency if you need, but trades and other small features could stay open?

I propose keeping it open with limited functions until league registration opens the following season and comes time to select keepers and draft in order for serious leagues that have been around for almost a decade to keep going strong!

I love this idea. I am in several keeper leagues with a dynasty and this would ease a great deal of the comminsioners pain if he didn't have to manually put in draft pick trades and keeper trades.

Have the leagues stay open all year and let the commish set what is allowed as far as trading and adding free agents. Shut it down for a week or whatever when it needs to update to the new year andd keep it going. I think it would help keep more leagues together.

On keeper cost, Let the commish also have the option to set a round value cost to a keeper. This helps in leagues with a regular draft. It's a pain to enter everything. Would be great if I could just assign their cost and have it slot them in to the right round as keepers when the draft comes

 I agree I would like to see this. Most serious players are involved with at least one keeper league. At least keep the message boards open so the owners can communicate with each other without having to track down e-mail addresses, most of which are hidden. While you're out it there needs to be a more comprehensive way to track keeper costs for leagues that use them. At least allow the commish to slap the players cost on them.

This would be great. Being a commissioner in many keeper leagues I could be ready sooner rather than being so busy in Sept. Lets do it Yahoo!
