Sometimes it hard to know you been hacked by someone you don't even know. I never pasted out my user name or my password but I'm guessing even that don't work no more because I found out someone who used my username and my father's name from the e-mail I use, ruining my reputation among friends that I know. How I found out about this was last night when my own college tutor called me asking if I'm ok and my mother even got the same message and I saw what he wrote.
"
I Hope you get this on time, sorry I didn't inform you about my urgent trip to the UK for a program, I'm presently in London & I am having some difficulties here because I was robbed of my wallet and other valuable things which includes my credit card on my way to the hotel. I want you to please assist me with a loan of £1300 today to sort out my hotel bills and to get myself a flight ticket back home.
I have spoken to both the embassy & police here but they are not responding to the matter effectively, I will appreciate whatever you can afford to assist me with, I'll refund the money back to you as soon as I return, let me know if you can be of any help. I don't have a phone here where i can be reached so
please email me asap.
With Kind regards....Roy Snow
I also found this today by someone who forwarded this to me, and the e-mail was different with an attachment. e-mails included were:
sirikul@onep.go.th
postmaster@onep.go.th
Help me track this guy down and have him reported for ID theft. I'm very upset over this...
