Hi, I'm using the Classic version and I git an email saying    ''  Due to the congestion in all Yahoo! Accounts, Yahoo! is upgrading its servers and needs verification of both premium and free accounts for security reasons. We are sending this e-mail to you so that you can verify and let us know if you still want to use this account.''

This came straight to my Spam, which is never the case when Yahoo sends things. So, is it me or there is something fishy in this email?

Thanks, guys!

I received the same message (see following) and "clicked here".  I received a warning about phishing, so I closed everything.  I don't know if this is legitimate and don't know what to do.  I don't want to have my account closed.  Please let me know what to do.  Thanks.  SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT Dear Customer,

 Hi All,

Looks like a phishing scam. If Yahoo! sends you email directly, you should see a Y! icon next to the email in or Inbox. This 'verifies' that it came from Yahoo!

Here's an article that will tell you more.

Why do I see a purple Y! next to certain messages in my Inbox?

Let everyone here know if this helped or solved your issue.

I received an e-mail saying I needed an update for member verification for account confirmation.  I do not understand.  Supposedly my att.net user account will be discontinued if I don't update.  Please advise.
