How do I delete London 2w012?

To keep it short I have no interest in the over hyped commercialized and ultra nationalist Olympics. Now it is all over my home page and taking up valuable space. I cannot find a way of deleting it.  i did not askfor this and resent Yahoo forcing it on me. How do I block or delete it

Hi Ted,

In order for us to provide you with a free service, we have to have advertisers and advertisements on all Yahoo! pages. As with all advertisements on Yahoo!, the Olympics advertising is temporary and should not be taking up any area of the screen that has not already been designated for advertising (and always has an ad).

I'm sorry that you do not like this ad scheme, but it will be gone soon enough!
