We've added the following new features to the Yahoo! Messenger button. These features are only available for Yahoo! Toolbar 6.2 for Internet Explorer and higher, and requires Yahoo! Messenger 7.0 or higher. To check the version of your toolbar, select "About Yahoo! Toolbar" from the Pencil menu. To check the version of your Yahoo! Messenger client, select "About Yahoo! Messenger" from the Help menu.

With these tools installed, you can do the following right from your browser:

1. Change your Messenger status
2. Access your contact list
3. Receive voice mail alerts
4. Share web page stuff

If you have Yahoo! Toolbar 6.2 for Internet Explorer and Yahoo! Messenger installed, but don't have the Messenger button on your toolbar, you can add it to your Yahoo! Toolbar now (this requires sign-in).

Note: If you sign in to Yahoo! Toolbar with one Yahoo! ID, and sign into Yahoo! Messenger with a different ID, the Messenger button on your toolbar reflects your ID on Yahoo! Messenger.
